M.A. in Counseling Psychology, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Founder/Owner of Inner Mission Counseling LLC

Hello - and welcome! My name is Kristin. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois. I live in the western suburbs of Chicago with my husband, three children, and what feels like a small zoo.

After spending 10 years in corporate marketing, I left to pursue my calling to work with individuals, couples, and families as they re-imagine their lives and relationships. I have worked in the field since completing graduate school and  I obtained my license in 2007.

Over the years, I have worked in many behavioral health settings, including community mental health, inpatient and outpatient hospitals, managed care, online therapy, and private practice.

We can work on a wide variety of concerns including things like depression, chronic illness, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, marital issues, and conflict. I also work with moms experiencing postpartum depression, traumatic births, and parents of special needs/exceptional children.

I am so glad you took the leap to begin a journey that I believe will change your life. I feel that the relationship between us will be one of the most important parts of the process. The trust, support, validation, and challenges will create the environment to live more authentically with a newfound awareness and the confidence to honor and prioritize what is most important to you. So whatever your reasons for being here, we will work together.

I utilize an integrated approach to therapy because I want to address your specific concerns and goals effectively, whether it be using a person-centered, cognitive behavioral, or a solution-focused approach.

Again, let me say welcome. You've taken a step into the unknown, but you are not alone.
